The 2012 CUFP call for presentations is out. CUFP is the Commerical Users of Functional Programming workshop, and it’s a great place to interact with a community of people who use functional programming for solving real world problems. The workshop is colocated with ICFP, which will be in Denmark this year.
There’s actually a lot of interesting stuff going on at the tail end of ICFP. There’s going to be an OCaml Users and Developers Workshop the day before the CUFP talks, which I’m very much looking forward to. Plus, CUFP organizes a set of FP tutorials which I’ve found to be really productive. And there are some interesting-looking new workshops, like a workshop on functional high-performance computing.
